How to get there

Take the bus and hop off at the Trouts Rd. at Flockton St., stop 43, which is just 350m from the centre. It will take you just five minutes to walk to your final destination. If you prefer riding the train, you can disembark at Enoggera Station, which is roughly 3.4km from the centre. This entails a 45-minute walk northward via Metroad 5 to McDowall Family Medical Centre. If you will bring your own vehicle, North West Plaza offers plenty of on-site parking.

McDowall Family Medical Centre offers a wide array of health-related services. The centre provides child health services such as baby checks and immunisations. Adult health services include aged care, antenatal care and pregnancy, family planning advice, implanon insertions and removals, management of chronic health conditions, men’s health (prostate), women’s health (pap smears and menopause advice), and sexual health screenings. General health services include acupuncture, full health checks and preventive health, mental health care plans, skin cancer and mole checks, sports injuries, travel medicine and vaccines, and weight, dietary, and exercise advise. Occupational health services include driver’s medical assessments, insurance reports, dive medicals, and employment medicals.
